ThesisHack.com is an online project for writing a thesis or dissertation to be proud of. The thesis marks the conclusion of student life and simultaneously the beginning of life after university.
It is a crucial rite of passage into adulthood.
However, there are obstacles to overcome that stand in the way of our goal. I understand how a student feels when they have to write a thesis because students that follow my program often return over and over to the same questions. These questions are often similar, and I call them "mushroom questions". As they always pop in the same place.
(maybe I need to find a better metaphor 🍄 )
Anyway:
How do I structure a well-written thesis?
How do I know how many sources I need to read before I start writing?
How do I present my ideas coherently?
How do I choose an interesting, defined, and not overly broad topic?
How do I write in a way that makes readers curious about my research?
These are not trivial questions, at all. Unfortunately, the online guides you can find answer these questions superficially. Moreover, they add a lot of background noise.
You find yourself reading dozens (hundreds?) of blog articles, watching videos on YouTube, scrolling through social media, and browsing forums.
Be careful, because this way you don’t gain clarity; rather, you increase mental confusion exponentially.
For the first time in history, we don't have to struggle to find information. Rather, we have the opposite problem. Information is everywhere. It's becoming overwhelming.
Infobesity.
[noun - Synonym of information overload. I.E. “the availability or supply of too much information, or a state of stress which results from it”]
The effects of information overload are becoming well-known; they create difficulties for many students and lead to a situation of significant stress.
You can read all the guides available on the web.
But if you want to write a thesis that brings you satisfaction, then it’s much better to follow just one method (and one that has been tested).
You can choose the method that resonates most with your spirit. But choose only one method. Not a hundred, not ten, not three. Just one.
Applying an organic process from the beginning of your thesis research to the last word written is the best way to avoid feeling confused and insecure about how to proceed, never knowing if what you’re doing is right or not.
If you need to write a thesis, you don’t need more abstract theories; you need a concrete path that shows you step-by-step how to complete all the stages of a dissertation.
In the following pages, I want to present my method to you.
